Star Wars Galaxies will go dark on 12/15/11



I feel like I'm going to cry. I just learned that SWG, the MMO that convinced me $14.99/mo was a reasonable price all those years ago, is closing it's doors.

Many Bothans died to bring us this information...

It's not that I've spent more than a few hours in the game since 2006 but still, this is the game that swung open the MMO Doors for me. I feel like I just lost a family member.

I'll write something more composed in my blog in the next day or two, but I would love to hear what all of you think.

Maybe we can share memories, have some punch and macaroni salad. Heck, It's an SWG Wake! :(
